Frequently asked questions about the MVV Ski Pass

Weg in die Skigebiete?

For the ski areas Brauneck, Spitzingsee, Sudelfeld: Take the S-Bahn, e.g., to Munich Central Station, Donnersbergerbrücke, Harras, Solln, or Holzkirchen. From there, take the regional train towards Bayrischzell, Lenggries, and Tegernsee. This train runs hourly from Munich into the mountains.

For the Garmisch Classic ski area: Take the S-Bahn, e.g., to Munich Central Station or Munich Pasing. From there, take the RB60 train towards Pfronten or Lermoos to the destination station Garmisch-Partenkirchen Hausberg. This train runs hourly.

For the Garmisch Zugspitze ski area: Take the S-Bahn, e.g., to Munich Central Station or Munich Pasing. From there, take the trains of the lines RB6/RE61/RB60 towards Innsbruck/Mittenwald/Seefeld or Pfronten to the destination station Garmisch-Partenkirchen. These trains run at least hourly. From Garmisch-Partenkirchen station, the Bayerische Zugspitzbahn (BZB) then travels to the Zugspitze (Zugspitzplatt station).

Infos zum Skipass

The ticket includes a Day Ticket for the entire MVV network, transfer with the ski bus, and the one-day ski pass for the selected ski area. Please note: When purchasing the MVV Ski Pass at a machine or in an S-Bahn Customer Center, you receive a voucher for the one-day ski pass. This voucher must be exchanged for the actual ski pass in the ski area for a deposit fee.
